The Italian edition of the ZOW exhibition will have a bigger international flavour than ever before, according to organisers.

Exhibition space at the October 15-18 show, held at Fiera di Pordenone, is already at a premium with around 90% of the floor space booked.

ZOW organiser Survey Marketing & Consulting said that this underlines the continued growth and popularity of the show, with more international exhibitors and visitors due to make the 2008 show even bigger.

“Our aim is to further enhance ZOW’s international visibility,” said Carlo Giobbi, managing director of Survey.

ZOW Pordenone 2007 attracted 20,000 visitors from 92 countries, with 21 of the countries represented by more than 100 professionals, an increase from nine out of 80 countires represented by more than 100 professionals in 2006. This underlines the exhibition’s importance to the international market, said Mr Giobbi.

“This is a figure that we, the organisers of ZOW Pordenone, consider as particularly significant because it means the international market also believes strongly in the event,” he said.
