The Wood Promotion Network (WPN) has completed its first campaign year and now plans to step up activity to promote wood throughout the US and Canada.

Initiatives over the past year included the production of materials to demonstrate what the industry is doing to help builders improve their business by using wood; providing environmental product assurance that addresses consumer concerns on wood and forests; and helping builders sell timber homes to consumers.

The campaign team now plans to convert some of its initiatives into point-of-sale materials and continue its radio, TV and press campaigns.

Meanwhile, WPN’s Wood Information Bureau continues to push out positive wood and wood product stories and challenge any inaccurately reported information.
