The government has given the go-ahead to build a £400m wood-fired power station in Wales.
The Prenergy scheme at Port Talbot is reckoned to be the largest biomass power station project in the world.
Construction will start soon and the 350MW plant, planned to meet about 70% of Wales’ renewable electricity target, will open in 2010.
Woodfuel will be imported from the US and Canada.
