Woodland development project Cydcoed-Woods for All has enabled community groups throughout Wales to benefit from Objective One funding of £100,000.
The total now pledged to community projects by the Cydcoed project throughout Wales is more than £3.2m.
Run by Tir Coed, the all-Wales initiative Cydcoed is delivering some of the biggest packages of new money – funded jointly by the European Union and the Forestry Commission in Wales – ever offered for woodland projects in Wales.
The projects are beginning to provide income and work throughout the country.
