A man who sold the same woodlands to 11 forestry and timber companies has been jailed in Pennsylvania for three-and-a-half years and ordered to pay back US$119,000 with interest on his release.
Theodore Yeagley received almost US$200,000 for the contracts, but repaid some of the cash when he was unable to put off loggers who arrived at his property to harvest the timber.
