Malaysian wood-based product manufacturer and trader Woodlandor Holdings Bhd has reported net profits of M$2.2m for the nine months ending September 2003.

The company, which unveiled a new logo on March 3, recorded sales of M$51.6m for the period and expects better earnings for this year.

Operations include the manufacture of doors and prefabricated roof trusses and the distribution of timber, building materials, rubberwood furniture, architectural hardware and wood preservative chemicals.

The door-making and roof truss divisions represent the highest earning elements of the group, with the Second Board business turning out up to 50,000 doors a year at its Semenyih factory.

Rubberwood furniture is exported to countries including the US, Japan, Spain, South Korea, Russia, Finland and Australia.
