Natural wood products – both for the external envelope and interior shell of buildings – will feature more strongly at The Surface Design Show 2005.

Events director Geoff Soppett said that the show, now in its second year, has grown by 50% on the 2004 event and that there has been an increase in the number of timber and wood products companies wanting to exhibit.

He said: “It is interesting to see how wood is being used as a material by architects.”
