The second European Conference on Wood Modification will be held in Göttingen, Germany on October 6-7.
Experts from research institutes and commercial companies in areas relating to wood modificaion will present developments on the subject at the conference which is open to anyone with an interest in the subject.
The organisers said the event will provide a strong base for learning new methods and approaches in this expanding scientific area, and will allow new links to be forged in the wood treatment proceses and applications field.
