Radio listeners were given advice on how to use wood to transform their homes in a series of interviews with television interiors expert Naomi Cleaver.

Wood enthusiast Ms Cleaver, a presenter on Channel 4‘s Other Peoples Houses, covered a range of topics during the March 30-31 regional broadcasts, which also featured wood. for good‘s project manager Tony Traynor.

Talking points included decking and the popularity of wood flooring, particularly the fashion for darker colours and wider boards. Ms Cleaver also gave tips on finishing and board laying; wood in the bathroom; cost and maintenance; timber’s environmental advantages; and where to receive more information.

Mr Traynor answered technical questions on the use of wood and spoke about the wood. for good campaign.

Radio stations broadcasting the interviews included the BBC‘s regional service in Jersey, Berkshire, Lancashire and Newcastle, plus Century 105 (north-west) and Downtown Radio (Northern Ireland). Other stations are being targeted with a syndicated tape in the run-up to Easter.
