Wood. for good has won the Best Use of PR award at the Construction Marketing Awards.

The win follows the success of last year’s awards when wood. for good won the top prize for the Best Use of Advertising.

The Building With Wood PR campaign, run by RED Communications since September 2002, won top prize because the judges felt it “dealt with the challenge of educating its target audience excellently and should ensure a better understanding of the material by the specifiers of tomorrow”.

Charles Trevor, managing director for wood. for good, said: “We shall continue to work hard in 2004 to make the campaign even more successful and useful to its members and to the rest of the UK wood industry.”
