Timber industry representatives and architects will come together to talk about use of wood in a Wood for Good Networking Day at the Building Centre, London.

One of the key questions being asked at the October 11 event will be some of the barriers to wood use in the supply chain.

Roddy Langmuir, of Edward Cullinan Architects, will chair the event, with Timber Trade Federation chief executive John White covering Wood for Good’s new manifesto.

Andrew Wylie of Buro Happold will talk about the barriers to specifying wood, while Phil Clark of UBM Media will advise on how to build relationships with architects.

The Wood Awards winners will be covered by Michael Morrison of Purcell Miller Triton Architects and chairman of the awards judges.

Timber Trade Federation members can exhibit flyers/brochures at the event, while Wood for Good’s financial supporters can have table-top displays.

A panel discussion will complete the agenda for the event.
