The new content, which will go live by the end of October, is being developed in co-operation with key industry education organisations, such as the Institute of Wood Science, TRADA and other Wood for Good members.

Additional subjects include certification, procurement and specfication; exterior cladding; flooring; plywood; use of structural timber in construction and roofing; wood finishes; and wood protection.

The programme, launched earlier this year, already includes modules on building sustainably with wood; engineered wood products; landscaping with wood; and the properties, species and science of wood.

The Online Learning programme builds on the success of the ongoing joint wood for good/TRADA architects’ Continual Professional Development seminars. It is designed to make learning more approachable, more informative and allows for self-assessment and management tracking as well.
