Timber promotional campaign Wood for Good is to take a leading role at the TRADA Technology-backed Timber Expo exhibition as a gold sponsor.
Wood for Good’s presence at Timber Expo is in partnership with the Forestry Commission and the Scottish Forest and Timber Technologies Advisory Group.
“In order to drive the use of timber in the UK, we need to create a regulatory environment that promotes the use of wood, and generates demand amongst audiences such as architects, contractors, engineers and builders merchants,” said Wood for Good chairman John Kissock.
“By working together we hope to raise the profile of timber in Scotland, and all over the UK.”
Wood for Good’s support follows the backing of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) and the UK SIP Association.
More than 70 exhibitors have so far booked to attend the September 27 & 28 event at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, which also features TRADA’s In Touch with Timber Conference and the Wood Awards presentation ceremony.
