The Wood for Good timber industry marketing campaign has unveiled the marketing and PR businesses that will steer its relaunch this year.
The campaign has appointed branding and design agency Tayburn to manage its “marketing consortium” , with the Citypress consultancy handling PR.
The core focus of the campaign will be to “promote the aesthetic and practical benefits of using wood”, while continuing to highlight its sustainability under the established Wood Co2ts Less slogan.
The campaign will target architects, contractors, designers, engineeers and builders merchants through “a combination of targeted advertising and PR”. It will also lobby to “influence the legislative environment”, said Tayburn’s business director Jon Stevenson.
