Timber Trade Federation (TTF) chief executive John White, addressing the first meeting of the Wood for Gold technical and logistics sub-group meeting in London, also highlighted key stages where opportunities will arise for the promotion and efficient supply of timber products.
The meeting was used to brainstorm ideas surrounding logistics, together with factors which will win work for timber suppliers who can provide certificated products reliably and efficiently.
Mr White said though the TTF’s ongoing PR work would be vital, the sub-group needed to be led by members of the industry.
