A new software program covering the world’s wood species – Wood Explorer – has been launched.
It replaces the Woods of the World CD and is a major advance in terms of species coverage, accuracy of data and software design. It has almost double the number of wood species – 1,650 compared to 830 on the old CD – and 200 photographs. It also contains 5,000 pages of information compared to 2,000 previously.
Purchasers receive unlimited access to the Wood Exchange website, which contains continuously updated information about various species.
Copies of the Wood Explorer CD can be bought direct from TTJ in the UK for £38+VAT of £6.65, a total cost of £44.65. The price includes first class postage and packaging.
