Leading international wood-based panels conference IPPS 2025 will be taking place in Wales on October 1-2.
Conference organisers The BioComposites Centre has issued a call for papers for the event, which will be held at the Imperial Hotel in Llandudno.
The International Panel Products Symposium (IPPS) is a blend of technical presentations, research updates, discussions and networking. Latest developments in wood-based panels technology, including resins and MDF recycling, are typically shared at the event.
The BioComposites Centre is inviting abstracts for presentations in the following areas:
• Composition modelling, visualization and microstructure
• Panel performance, durability and weathering
• Bio-based resins, resin design for circular economy
•Innovation in wood-based panels including: OSB, fibre-based insulation materials, plywood, and lightweight panels
• Recycled and novel fibrous feedstocks
• Processing technologies, fractionation, recycling and cleaning
• Modification, pre-treatments and property enhancement
• VOC scavenging and indoor air quality
