Submissions must be in by Friday, May 26, and anyone associated with the design, construction or production, installation or commissioning of joinery, wood structures and furniture in the UK can enter.

There are five main categories: commercial and public access; private; structural; conservation/restoration; and, new for 2006, furniture.

Four additional awards for a small project, innovation, best use of British timber and an “off-site” manufactured project, irrespective of category, may be made at the discretion of the judges.

For the third year running, the shortlist will be announced and exhibited at 100% Detail at Earls Court in September and the winners will be announced at The Wood Awards Party at Carpenters’ Hall in London in October.
