Build Center owner Wolseley UK is to implement an internet-based timber and wood products supplier assessment service to satisfy the requirements of the Timber Trade Federation‘s (TTF) Responsible Purchasing Policy (RPP).

Wolseley UK, which signed up to the RPP earlier this year, has commissioned timber tracking specialist Track Record to run the service, which is expected to save management time and resources and answer environment and corporate social responsibility questions.

Build Center brand director David Hunter said: “Track Record’s service will help us increase the necessary control and transparency for our multiple supply chains, ensuring we can independently demonstrate continuous improvement.”
