The Coventry-based company said there is a shortage of experienced staff capable of designing roof trusses and that many existing design staff are defecting to the engineered floor sector.
This has led Wolf to increase the number of courses it offers, as well as enhancing the range of areas they cover.
“We are now running training courses at our offices most weeks and have just built a second larger training facility to accommodate the increased and constant demand,” said managing director David Leaney.
“Our training is quite extensive and covers modules from basic introductory truss design to intermediate truss design. We also offer additional courses for differing aspects of whole house timber engineering.”
