The homes are constructed from sustainable materials, with double-layered timber frames precision engineered off-site to allow quick and easy construction at the Oxley Woods development without compromising on build quality, according to Wimpey.

Each property has been designed to meet the government’s sustainable home targets and uses innovative features to further its eco-friendly credentials, including an EcoHat to allow the recycling of hot air.

“The ongoing focus on the environment will not only impact on building policy, but also on the lives of consumers,” said Graeme Dodds, divisional managing director at Wimpey.

“We are extremely proud of Oxley Woods, which has allowed us to offer greater choice for the eco-conscious customer.”

A total of 145 properties will be built using 10 different designs put together by Wimpey and RSHP, with two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom properties available at the Oxley Woods development.
