The timber was supplied by the Wijma Group of the Netherlands which won FSC certification for one of its forest concessions in Cameroon late last year.
At a ceremony to mark the renovation, Dieter Cuypers of WWF Belgium said that gaining an FSC certificate in Central Africa was a real success story and that he hoped Wijma would be able to get other concessions in Cameroon certified in the future.
