Neil Forbes has been appointed as managing director of Weinig UK. He replaces Chris Osborne, who is leaving the Weinig Group after 13 years to take up a new challenge in Singapore.
Mr Forbes has been working for Weinig Australia for 11 years and has been its MD since 2002. He has more than 30 years’ experience and expertise in the timber industry, mainly in joinery and has an in-depth knowledge of all Weinig Group products and their applications.
He spent recent years dealing with the larger softwood and hardwood processors throughout Australia and New Zealand and his experience will provide good new ideas for UK companies.
