After 50 years with woodworking machinery manufacturer Michael Weinig, chief financial officer Karl Wachter is to stay on for a few more months.
Mr Wachter, who joined Weinig as an apprentice, is to remain with the company until the end of the year, ensuring a smooth handover to the new CFO, Gerald Schmidt, on October 1.
He joined the board of Michael Weinig in 1996, and in 2000 was appointed to the board of Weinig International.
