Walker Timber Group has helped two major regeneration projects meet their “key objectives” through the use of timber frame.

Guildway Ltd, a part of the group, supplied 340 timber frame units to Taylor Wimpey’s £69m Harbour Reach development in Poole, while another group member Cox Long Ltd, delivered 186 timber frame units to the £500m redevelopment of Lower Broughton, Salford by Countryside Properties.

“The use of timber frame and our close involvement from the outset with our partners Taylor Wimpey and Countryside Properties ensured that the key objectives of fast-track build and programme reliability were met on both of these important regeneration projects,” said Walker Timber spokesman Jim Edwards.

Both of the projects are to feature affordable homes and have been designed to create sustainable communities.
