The organisers of the W8 woodworking machinery show believe the new timing of Interbuild next year alongside W8 will create a significant opportunity for visitors.

Interbuild organisers E-Map recently announced that the exhibition, the UK’s largest building products show, would now take place annually, with next year’s show on October 26-30 at Birmingham NEC.

The biennial W8, also at the NEC, runs from October 26-29.

“We are delighted with this news which will bring extra value to many of our exhibitors,” said W8 exhibition director John Smith-Bodden.

“Certainly there will be close to 60,000 visitors on site for the two shows and W8 foresees that its traditional working with wood audience will be swelled by the move.”

He said W8 visitor marketing would try and capitalise on the opportunity to draw relevant parts of the Interbuild audience to W8 halls.
