The group’s timber building company Villa is currently delivering wall sections it has fabricated for the new building to house the new line.
Some 36 wall panels are being installed by Villa for the 400m2 extension.
The investment will see double Alvesta’s planing capacity to about 120,000m3. The new line is expected to be operational in early 2013.
