The new Vida Wood UK Ltd begins trading on October 1 following the amalgamation of Boras Timber (UK) Ltd. Its head office will be the former Boras base at Billericay, with Richard Thick as managing director, while Ian Drane can still be contacted at the existing Vida office at Ipswich.
Swedish parent company Vida AB now has the capacity to produce 850,000m3 of CLS/TR26 truss timber/dry graded sawn and planed carcassing timber, slating battens/decking and scaffold boards.
