VIDA has changed its mind about laying off six employees at its Ryd pallet factory and will keep production at a high rate, even during the autumn.
Meanwhile, VIDA Bruz AB’s Bellösågen sawmill will switch to cutting only pine in the autumn.
This means that the sawmill will cut about 80,000m³ of pine and Hjältevad will process about 225,000m³ of spruce.
VIDA said large investments in Hjältevad enabled efficient production even on reduced hours.
