Vida Wood UK sales managers Ian Drane and Andrew Bullard went back to school to teach pupils about timber.
The Timber Day, held at Cedar Wood Primary School, Kesgrove, on November 6 saw the team give presentations to various age groups about Vida’s products and operations, including environmentally-friendly harvesting.
They also gave out Forest Education Initiative projects to complete, with prizes to be presented by Vida.
Mr Drane said: ‘It was very rewarding. The number of good questions asked by the children was excellent.’
The school is cedar-clad and surrounded by woodland.
