With annual UK sales of more than £20m, the company is embarking on a new phase of increased growth with the expansion of its UK distribution centre and the opening of new operations in Dublin to supply the Irish market.
“We’ve brought Vicaima a long way since we started back in 1996,” said Peter Johnson, managing director of Vicaima UK. “I am proud of how we have all worked as a team to consistently grow the business year-on-year and establish Vicaima as a major player in the interior door market.”
Vicaima currently stocks more than 100,000 doors at its Swindon headquarters, a number which will increase with the expansion of the site.
The doors are manufactured at the company’s factory in Portugal and hand-finished on site at Swindon by specialist craftsmen to customer requirements.
