More than 500 Vicaima FD30 and FD60 fire doors were supplied to the Shelbourne Hotel, which officially reopened its doors on March 12, by Embankment Joinery.
Vicaima said that HKR Architects, the company responsible for the refurbishment, specified the FD range of doors “because of their unbeaten safety record” and the fact that Vicaima was recognised by both the TRADA Q-Mark and British Woodworking Federation Certifire schemes.
The Shelbourne Hotel contract is the largest to date for Vicaima Ireland, which opened its Dublin depot in the summer of 2006.
