Door manufacturer Vicaima says its UK operation will expand into architectural doorsets as part of an investment programme at its Swindon site.
The company said its investment will also allow it to expand its merchant-distributor sector offering.
Portugal-based Vicaima is already a leading player in the supply of architectural doorsets to the European and Middle Eastern markets. But it now wants to expand its UK business, which currently focuses on supplying standard quality doors.
The company said recent performance testing and certification would underpin its new move in the interior doors market.
