The business, which comprises of two sawmills producing 400,000m3 of dimension lumber annually, reported a 7% increase in sales to €30.5m for 2015.

Binderholz acquired 100% of the shares of Vapo Timber in January, giving it ownership of the Lieksa and Nurmes sawmills in central eastern Finland. The acquisition expands Binderholz’s cutting capacity from the current 1.75 million to 2.55 million m3.
