For the fourth time in a row, Belgian timber company Vandecasteele Houtimport has won the West Flanders Environmental Charter.
Export manager Geneviève Standaert said: “The charter initiative brings together companies which subscribe freely to environmental objectives and provide environmental performances which go beyond legally imposed regulations.
“When an enterprise is granted a year certificate it guarantees that care for the environment and the neighbourhood is one of the priorities in its policy.”
