UPM has escaped criminal charges following a US investigation of anti-trust and related offences in the American labelstock industry.
The US department of justice anti-trust division has also granted UPM a conditional full immunity and will not bring any criminal prosecution relating to possible price fixing activity in the magazine paper industry.
