UPM has been chosen as the timber supplier for a contemporary architecture exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

The company’s wood products will be used for architect Sami Rintala’s “Ark”, a three-storey book tower built of Finnish whitewood, with glue-laminated redwood boards for stairs and platforms.

A key target of the exhibition is to introduce the public to contemporary architecture in 1:1 scale instead of drawings and images.

The exhibition is open from June 15 to August 31.
