Preservative-free decking made from underwater-harvested hardwood is to make its debut in a sustainable housing project in the US.

Aquatic Cellulose, which harvests logs underwater in Brazil, has teamed up with Oregon Canadian Forest Products to produce Aqua Clear Choice decking as an alternative to CCA-treated timber.

The product will be launched this spring at the Cobb Hill Co-Housing Community Project in Hartland, Vermont.
