Timber and wood product companies have an opportunity for the first time to exhibit their products at the UN in Geneva.
Products will be exhibited during the UNECE timber committee and the Society of Wood Science and Technology at the Palais des Nations.
More than 300 delegates from governments, trade associations, corporations, research institutions and universities will attend the October meeting, with the exhibition displayed strategically at the main entrance of the Palais des Nations and viewed by more than a thousand people during the week.
Items will then be exhibited for the International Year of the Forest in January 2011.
Products will include a short description indicating its source (company or institution, country and website), use of the product and its composition.
