The UK Woodland Assurance Standard (UKWAS) steering group is inviting input from interested parties as it undertakes a revision of its standard.
Initial consultation identified three areas of the standard as being of particular importance – improving access to certification for small woodlands; guidance on management planning for woodland; and clarifying the use of chemicals in woodland.
