The UK Timber Frame Association (UKTFA) claims to have put together the most practical and useful guide to timber frame construction currently available.
The “Timber Frame Technical Pack” is aimed at construction professionals and contains 18 different sources of information, including training packages for sales, technical and site personnel, details on meeting Building Regulations using timber frame and environmental performance.
TRADA‘s “Timber Frame Construction” is included, along with the Building Research Establishment‘s “Multi-Storey Timber Frame Buildings – a Design Guide”.
Brian Woodley, UKTFA chief executive, said: “The timber frame industry is undergoing significant expansion and as its popularity develops it is essential that accurate technical information is available to housebuilders, developers, housing associations and architects.”
