The “Export 101” seminar is also intended to inform Québec sawmills about the fundamentals of exporting softwood lumber overseas.
The event will be held in Québec City on May 8, before the Québec Forest Industry Council’s conference on May 9-11.
Patrick Cooper, in charge of market development for Canada Wood in the UK, said UK importers could use the seminar to establish relationships with mills and develop potential business opportunities.
