The local timber traders’ association said about six lorries were impounded recently in a military operation.
It claimed most traders have now abandoned their business because of the NFA pressure.
Ugandan timber confiscated
Ugandan timber traders in the Mukono industrial area have had US$66,000 worth of timber confiscated by the National Forestry Authority (NFA).
