The annual nationwide search for the best-performing timber product companies in the UK & Ireland – the TTJ Awards – is now underway.
Voting is live on a secure online link on the TTJ Awards website HERE with buyers of timber products able to vote for their best performing timber suppliers across 10 categories, including Softwood, Hardwood, Panel Products, Garden Products, Structural Timber Systems, Joinery and Timber Merchanting.
The Awards judged categories – covering Excellence in Marketing, Career Development, Environmental Achievement, the TTJ Innovation Award and Timber Merchanting Development, are also now open for entries.
This year’s TTJ Awards sees software provider Epicor become Headline Sponsor for the event, while leading industry association Timber Development UK (TDUK) continues its long-running support as Gold Award sponsor – the much-coveted Timber Trader of the Year Award.
“We want to encourage all buyers of timber products to vote for their best-performing suppliers during this two-month voting window” said Stephen Powney, TTJ editor.
“It’s a great opportunity to give feedback to the timber trade on how it’s doing in the key areas of customer service, product range, product quality, deliveries and value for money.”
The deadline for voting is May 30.
Entries for the Judged Categories have also now opened – covering Environmental Achievement, Career Development, Innovation, Excellence in Marketing and Timber Merchanting Development, with the deadline being June 16.
The TTJ Awards ceremony will take place on September 19 at the Hilton London Bankside in central London. Other sponsors include West Fraser, W Howard, Combilift, Hubtex, Glennon Brothers, Koppers, the Builders Merchants Federation, Bulmor and SCM, with the Structural Timber Association once again backing the Structural Timber Systems Supplier of the Year Award.
