The Raynham Award Trustees have granted £1,035 to produce three display stands for use at events. The Raynham Award was set up in the 1970s in memory of Ray Raynham, managing director of FIDOR, to encourage students in timber technology and wood science.

The committee has also been given the go-ahead to publish pan-industry careers leaflets and the printing is being paid for by the TTF. The committee hopes to have the leaflets available for its September meeting.

A further five career profiles will be added to www.thedoorway.org.uk shortly, representing members of other trade associations across the industry.
