The Timber Trade Federation (TTF) has joined the UK Green Building Council (UK-GBC).
John White, TTF chief executive, said the decision to join UK-GBC was down to the environment and sustainability being “wachwords for today’s timber industry” and that “it is important that the TTF is part of developing any blueprint for the future”.
“I am looking forward to working with UK-GBC and I hope to add to the important work of creating and improving both new and existing buildings,” said Mr White.
Other members of UK-GBC include B & K Timber Structures and BRE.
