Trus Joist‘s Parallam parallel strand lumber (PSL) has found a new role – starring in a growing number of retail interiors.

Normally found in structural applications in housing and light commercial developments – and usually concealed in the form of beams, purlins, columns and timber trusses – Parallam PSL has suddenly become very much front of house.

A recent installation is at the G.room, a new one-stop male grooming shop in Carnaby Street, London. Here Parallal PSL has been used to create a series of goalpost style structures with display shelving mounted in between.
