The team of 30, which set off from Travis Perkins’ Northampton branch, cycled to a further 20 branches to raise funds and awareness of both causes. On the first day, the cyclists visited EACH (East Anglia Children’s Hospice) Milton to see how some of the funds raised during the challenge for Together for Short Lives would benefit local children’s hospices.

Kiran Gupta of Breast Cancer Campaign said the money would help to fund research into treatments for breast cancer.
