The German timber construction and finishing trades will join together in a combined trade show to take place in Essen and Nürnberg next year.

Deutsche Ausbaumesse Essen-Nürnberg, to be held on April 27-29, will combine the Holzbau und Ausbau (International Trade Fair for Wood, Roof and Dry Construction), with Stuck-Putz-Trockenbau (European Trade Fair for Interior Finishing).

Holzbau und Ausbau, which has been running for 20 years, attracts about 300 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors every two years.

The event will also feature the German Structural Timber Building Congress, expected to attract around 600 people from the carpentry and structural timber building trade, as well as architects and structural engineers.

The Congress on Building Finishing and Deutsche Fliesentage, which is aimed at the tiling, slabs, ceramic, stone and glass industries, will also be incorporated into the exhibition.
