The first World Bioenergy trade fair held by conference organisers Elmia AB at Jönköping, Sweden on June 2-4 has been hailed a success.
Torbjörn Johnsen, manager of the forestry and timber business area at Elmia, said the response was positive from both visitors and exhibitors.
There were 1,696 visitors over the three days and 270 conference participants from 34 countries around the world.
World Bioenergy 2006 will be held in conjunction with Elmia Waste & Recycling, which will take place in Jönköping from May 30 to June 1.
